What is the InsurThought Community?

InsurThought is an online community comprised of people like you willing to share their views, opinions and experiences on wide variety of interesting topics and trends including financial services, innovation and technology.

By joining InsurThought you will participate in market research through surveys and discussions, have the unique opportunity to influence the evolution of products and services, while earning rewards like badges and Amazon vouchers, you earn these based on your contribution and we run prize draws too.

We work on behalf of some financial services brands and would like your views on insurance and other topics to help shape strategy, product and innovation.

We want to keep the brands a secret so that doesn’t influence your responses however if you work it out, don’t tell everyone!

How to Register on InsurThought Community

To be eligible to participate in the InsurThought community you will need to complete an initial survey that details your general general details behavior and some demographic questions to help us classify your answers. Once this survey has been completed you will become eligible to participate. You will find this registration survey if you go to the "Join Now" page of this Website.

What if I live outside of the UK?

InsurThought is currently for UK residents only.

If I receive a survey invitation does that mean I'm qualified to participate?

Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, but our sponsoring clients may include criteria which is not part of our membership information. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey. In cases when your household does not fit the criteria, we will try and notify you quickly and release you from completing any more of that survey.

How often can I expect to receive survey invitations?

On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new QuickPolls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.

You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.

Are members rewarded for their participation?

As a member of the InsurThought community, you may receive different types of compensation depending on the type of research you participate in. For most surveys and activities, you will be awarded points that can be redeemed for Amazon vouchers online after you have accumulated a minimum number of points. For other projects you may receive a product to try or some other compensation such as an entry into a prize draw or contest. Our invitation for each survey or other activity will state the compensation.
